This piece is to help you practice with the dotted notes. As in the " Learn to read Jian Pu" section, the value of the dot is half of the note that in front of the dot. In this case, from Bar1 to Bar12, the first note is a 1/8 note, and the value of the dot behind the first dote should be 1/16, therefore, the value of the first note should be 3/16 and the value of the second note is 1/16. From bar 13 - 25. the value of the first note on bar 13 should be 1 and half beat and the second note is half beat.
